Carrer
During her graduation days, she had started participating in theatre plays and workshops camped by the National School of Drama artists. She also made print advertisements like those of McDowell’s, Aristocrat, and 400 other catalogues.
Shraddha made her acting debut with the Telugu film Siddhu from Sikakulam. She was flooded with Telugu film offers soon after the release of the former, bagging five Telugu films back-to-back. Those five films were Target, 18, 20 love story, Diary, Adhineta, and Arya 2. Arya 2 has been her most noteworthy film till date.
Her journey in Bollywood commenced in 2010 with the film Lahore, a sports drama, gaining critical acclaim for her performance. Destiny had much in store for her in 2010 too, when she signed three more Telugu films; Darling, Maro Charitra, and Nagavalli. Her most remarkable and memorable film in Bollywood happened to be the Emraan Hashmi starer “Dil to Bachha hai Ji ” in 2011. She subsequently made a spectacular entry into the Kannada and Malayalam film industries, too, with Hosa Prema Purana and Dracula 2012, respectively.
Das also worked in the Bengali film industry in 2014 with the film The Royal Bengal Tiger. More opportunities came her way in the same year in Hindi movies Lucky Kabootar and Zid. Das has recently been seen in three Telugu films; Rey, Bandipotu, and Superstar Kidnap. Her latest releases are the Bollywood film Chai Shai Biscuit, Ouija’s bilingual film Haunting of Bombay mills, the Telugu films Guntur Talkies and Garuda Vega, the Bengali film Badsha the don, and the Hindi thriller Babumoshai Bandookbaaz.
