Kurup is an Indian Malayalam crime thriller mystery film directed by Srinath Rajendran and written by Jithin K Jose, KS Aravind and Daniell Sayooj Nair. The story is based on Sukumara Kurup, the most notorious criminal in Kerala who absconded in the mid-1980s. The Kurup movie starring Dulquer Salmaan in the title role and Sobhita Dhulipala, Indrajith Sukumaran, Shine Tom Chacko, Sunny Wayne and Maya Menon in supporting roles. The theatrical release date of Kurup Cinema is 12 November 2021. The film has also been dubbed into Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages.
