Kiara Advani, aka Alia Advani, is an Indian actress who has works in a couple of Bollywood, Tollywood movies and Netflix Series. Her real name is Alia Advani, but before entering into Btown, she decided to change her name to Kiara. There is already a film star named Alia (Alia Bhatt) present in Hindi Cinema.

She was born on 31 July 1992 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. As of today, Kiara Advani’s age is 27 years. Her father, Jagdeep Advani, is a businessman, and her mother, Genevieve Jaffrey, is a school teacher. Her father belongs to the Hindu Sindhi community, and her mother hails from Scottish origins. Kiara has a younger sibling, Mishaal Advani, who is nearly 24 years old.

Early Life and Career

She completed her school education at Cathedral and John Connon School, Mumbai, and pursued her graduation in Mass Communication from Jai Hind College, Mumbai. Besides that, she was good at academics and achieved 92% in her intermediate. After completing graduation, she attended short term acting courses with other Bollywood actors such as Anupam Kher and Roshan Taneja.

Kiara had a passion for acting since the age of two. She and her mother endorsed the brand “Wipro Baby Soft.” Kiara Advani made her Bollywood debut with the movie ‘Fugly’ which was released in 2014. Though the movie performed poorly at the box office and was a total disaster, Kiara was appreciated by the audience for her acting skills. Her role was considered a remarkable one when she featured in Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s biopic, M.S. Dhoni- The Untold Story (2016), as Dhoni’s wife, Sakshi Dhoni.

She made her Tollywood debut with the movie “Bharat Ane Nenu” which portrayed a political drama. Returning to Bollywood, she played an innocent and introverted girl opposite Shahid Kapoor in the movie “Kabir Singh” (2019). Although the movie was entwined with a lot of controversies, her role was loved by all. In later 2019, she also acted in a comedy film called “Good News” with some esteemed actors like Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, Tisca Chopra, and Punjabi Diljit Dosanjh.
