Story, Plot
The story is about a kind and cheerful village girl named Poonkodi. She dreams of living life on her own terms — as an educated and independent woman. But her journey is not easy.
At home, Poonkodi faces many challenges. Her father is a strict and old-fashioned man who believes that only sons carry the family name. He doesn’t think girls need higher education, especially if they are going to be married soon.
Even though her mother quietly supports her, the rest of the family disagrees with Poonkodi’s dreams. Still, she doesn’t give up. She wants to prove that girls, too, have the right to learn and choose their own future.
