Rekha Ratheesh was born in 1982 in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. She grew up in Chennai, where her parents were associated with the film industry. Her father, Ratheesh, worked as a dubbing artist and was also involved in film production, while her mother, Radhadevi, was an actress and dubbing artist.
