Early life and Career
Rohanpreet Singh was born on December 1, 1994, in the Patiala district of Punjab to parents Gurinder Pal Singh and Daljeet Kaur. He is followed by two female siblings, namely Amanpreet Kaur and Rashminder Kaur. The family practices Sikhism.
Rohanpreet’s father, Gurinder, is a sportsman and an employee at PSEB (Punjab State electricity board).
Rohanpreet attained his school education from Shri Guru Harkrishan Public school, Patiala. He has been inclined towards vocal music since his childhood days. He sang his first song at the age of 3 and a half years.
His first appearance on the screen happened to be with the singing reality show Saregamapa Little Champs, where he was a participant in 2007. He ended up being the first runner-up on the show.
11 years down the line, he resurfaced to the small screens by venturing as a participant into another singing reality show, Rising Star 2 (2018), where he again finished as the first runner-up, while Hemant Brijwasi was crowned the winner of the show. After the conclusion of the show, Rohanpreet voiced some blockbuster hit songs like Taqleef (2018), Pehli Mulaqat (2018), Ainkan Kaliyan (2019), and Hello Hi (2019).
In 2020, he appeared as a contestant in another television reality show, “Mujhse Shadi karoge,” which aired on Colours TV. He competed with other male contenders to win the hand of the Bigg Boss 13 contestant, Shehnaz Gill.
