Early life and career

Urvashi Rautela was born on 25th February 1994 in Kotdwar, situated in the Uttarakhand state of India. Her school education happened to be at DAV school, in Kotdwar itself. She cleared the IIT-JEE examination and couldn’t make it to IIT due to some undetermined reasons. She then pursued her undergraduate degree at Gargi College, Delhi, which is affiliated with Delhi University. After completing her undergraduate course, she flew to New York to pursue her diploma in film and acting from the New York film academy. From the time she was a student, she somewhere knew that she would be an eminent icon in Bollywood, the reason being her participation in modelling contests since childhood. She also gained her first beauty show and pageant experience at the age of 15 years.

Her career took a surge when she grabbed numerous commercial ad offers for renowned brands like LG, Levi’s, Bhima Gold, Ozel’s lifestyle, Grasim, Lakme cosmetics, etc. She also made stunning appearances on the cover page of International magazines like I Craze, Beauty & Salon.
