Vaani Kapoor Early Life and Career
She attained her primary and higher secondary education at Mata Jai Kaur Public School in Ashok Vihar, Delhi and completed her graduation from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), where she pursued degree in Bachelor of Tourism. She was an intern for three years in the Oberoi group of hotels, Jaipur. Later, she enrolled in ITC hotels and started working for them. In 2009, she made her TV debut by acting in the daily soap, Rajuben.
Vaani Kapoor made her film debut with Shuddh Desi Romance in 2013, a critical and commercial success, which earned her Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. She starved in the company’s romantic comedies Aaha Kalyanam (2014) and Befikre (2016).
She gained a lot of recognition and attention from the B-town folks as well as the audience. In 2013, she was all set to enter Bollywood with the Yash Raj Films produced by Shuddh Desi Romance, co-starring the late Sushant Singh Rajput and Parineeti Chopra. That same year, she also bagged a Filmfare award for the Best female debut for her splendid role. In 2016, again, the Yash Raj banner cast her alongside Ranveer Singh in the movie Befikre. Unfortunately, this movie did not turn out to be a runaway success to a bland plot. But the film’s music compositions were foot-thumping, and anyhow, it made a business of ₹64.98 crores. Vaani was last seen on the big screen in the action thriller film ‘War’ opposite the heartthrob Tiger Shroff and Michael Jackson of Bollywood, ‘Hrithik Roshan,’ also her favourite actor. The audience praised this movie a lot, and Vaani’s dance steps in the song ‘Ghunghroo’ gained many accolades.
